The 2024 Pan of the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) reached its peak on Sunday, March 24th, with the thrilling finals of the black belt division, both in male and female categories. Spectators were treated to a display of skill and determination as the top competitors battled for titles in their respective weight classes.
Among the men, the champions who left their mark on the competition were Thalison Soares in the featherweight division, Diego Pato in the lightweight division, Kennedy Maciel in the featherweight division, Jackson Nagai in the lightweight division, Mica Galvão in the middleweight division, Uanderson Ferreira in the light heavyweight division, Fellipe Andrew in the heavyweight division, Anderson Munis in the super heavyweight division, and Yatan Bueno in the ultra heavyweight division.
Meanwhile, in the women’s division, the winners showcased their supremacy on the mats, with Shelby Murphy claiming gold in the roosterweight division, Mayssa Bastos in the lightweight division, Larissa Campos in the featherweight division, Janaina Lebre in the lightweight division, Thalyta Silva in the middleweight division, Ingridd Alves in the light heavyweight division, Izadora Cristina in the heavyweight division, and Gabi Pessanha in the super heavyweight division.
In the absolute, the winners in the male division were Gutemberg Pereira and Gabi Pessanha.
